  • Church Walk 22nd July

    The walk started at Orston.

  • Circuit Walk 27th May

    The start of the walk

A glorious day walking for 25 members from across the Circuit. Despite initial showers during transport to Tollerton Methodist Church, having been fortified with drinks and biscuits in the church, all set off for a roundabout route via back lanes and fields, via Flawford Cemetery and Barn Farm to Bradmore in glorious sunshine and occasional (and very welcome) breezes.
Bradmore Methodist Church saw more drinks and seating round tables (!) to accompany our own packed lunches.

  • Circuit Easter Offering Service

    21st May 2017 at Radcliffe-on-Trent

About 45 people from around the Circuit joined in the service, put together by the Methodist Women in Britain worship team to encourage us to ‘Shine like Stars’ using readings from Philippians 2 and Matthew 5, and a wide variety of hymns and songs. Stories giving examples of NMAs (Nationals in Mission Appointments) working in Brazil, Ghana and Pakistan, funded by the World Mission Fund, often in difficult and challenging environments, but all bringing the light of Christ into that situation.

Here is a slide-show of some of the activities over Christmas.

  • Church Anniversary Celebrations

    Breakfast to start with

Our Church Anniversary fell on 8th/9th October this year, celebrating 123 years.

A Safari Supper was enjoyed by a couple of dozen on Saturday evening. After starters in the schoolroom, the group divided to have a main course of Chicken Marengo with three hosts in their homes. Everybody finally met up for desserts and coffee in another home. This was a great opportunity to be with different people throughout the evening.

  • Radcliffe-on-Trent Charity Carnival

Another amazing day for our church.
After an horrendously wet start, when people were erecting and trying to set them up.
The rain stopped at 11 o'clock, two hours earlier than predicted. Everyone became supercharged to get the float and stalls ready.
After an amazing effort by everyone; the stalls looked lovely and the float terrific.
The Carnival float and stalls involved ages from one to eighty and people from the community.
    A wonderful day for everyone.
